Well Look Who's Back | Update, Life & Name Change?

Well hello. Long time no blog and all. How are we all?

It's been a while since I have posted on here and honestly the reason was because I didn't really know what I wanted to do blogging wise. I love makeup and beauty and sometimes it's hard for me to dedicate a post to just one thing as I do things like that on my channel so I feel like I would just repeating myself and I wanted my blog to feature things I wouldn't always feature on there.
I love doing outfit posts but Im not the most stylish person so I felt like I couldn't really do that either.. basically I felt like I was making up excused not to blog but I have actually missed sitting down and producing more content (even if my grammar and spelling isn't great! Dyslexic problems which is also new I found out my whole life I have that know wonder l have always struggled!)

So a few months back I decided to change my online name to my actual name and its given me so much freedom to do and product the content I want to do. I felt like with my online name I was restricted to just beauty and there is more to me than a love for makeup and beauty. I wanted to talk about life, struggles I deal with like depression I wanted to talk about my battle with mental health, advice on relationships if it be parents, friendship and past partner struggles. I wanted to be able to share outfits that I love and think are cute, dupes for high end clothing and bags. I just wanted a whole new re branding and I am so much happier with everything and in time I wanted to bring back my blog so here it is, with a cute new layout that I am OBSESSED WITH!

So yeah a little short ramble to basically say Im back, things are new and I'm actually so excited.

So here is to a new chapter on my little blog. I can't wait!

My current HOLY GRAIL Foundation

You know when a product is hyped up and you sit back and think is it really all that?!
You either jump on the hype or you just leave it.
This time I jumped.. sort of. Well a month later I did haha.

I have tried a few face things from NYX before but the foundations I tried I never really could get on with. They just never lasted well or felt that nice on my skin so when everyone seemed to be raving about this new foundation I wondered would it be another fail for me.
So last week I filmed a first impressions watch it here because thats what I love doing on my channel at the min is testing products so I put the new control cover drops to the test and guys... GUYS!
It honestly is the best foundation I have tried in a long time and I haven't been this blown away by a foundation to the point where I'm actually excited to apply it to my face.

The foundation comes in 24 different shades and they range from very fair to dark which is so good because we all know the shade ranges in the drugstore are well.. shocking for people with fair skin and dark skin tones. The foundation retails for £14 which I'll say is a tad bit expensive for drugstore but it's definitely a price I don't mind paying for a foundation I love.

As the name would suggest its a control cover drop foundation meaning you control the coverage of the foundation. I am one for a full coverage and I find it to never look cakey on my skin,  for me it makes my skin look flawless and like my skin and if you want something to give you a light coverage then this foundation can give you that too. It honestly is perfect for everyone.
It has such a beautiful velvety - matte finish which I am not one for a matte finish but this is dreamy.
The lasting time is so good as well, I have combination/oily skin so my t-zone is oily within a few hours and this foundation holds up so well on my skin that I was actually shocked by how well it lasted. I love that it comes in cool, warm and neutral under tones too because again there is a shade for everyone no matter your skins undertone.

My personal favourite way to apply it is with a beauty blender I find that it works so well with the foundation and blends like a dream. I have this in 3 different shades Pale for when I'm pale, Medium Olive for when I'm not wearing a lot of fake tan and Golden for when I am freshly fake tanned. I have my shades in the neutral undertones as it works well for when I'm tanned and pale.

The best denim jacket that only costs £12..

I have been looking for a denim jacket for what feels like forever. I never found the right colour or one that didn't have rips in. It seemed finding a denim jacket that was what I wanted and not too pricy was just so hard to find. Thats until I walked in to Primark and it was denim jack galore.

They had a few to choose from but ended up picking the light blue and your typical denim wash which I am so glad I did because I haven't stopped wearing them since I got them.
Im still yet to find a black denim jacket but until then Im happy with these little gems that cost £12.

Pale Girls Guide To Fake Tan | Why I swear by Bondi Sands

My natural skin tone is very pale. Im in between white as snow and light porcelain. With a olive skin tone on my body but pink on the face.. I know strange

Up until the age of 15/16 I never used fake tan I was comfortable with my skin tone, despite looking back at old photos of me wearing foundation that never matched and the foundation line *cringe*  fake tan was something I never had an interest in. Although I always got comments from people saying I looked ill or I should get a bit of sun on my skin it was something I just used to brush off.
I remember the first fake tan I used and the feeling I had from fake tanning, the confident having more colour to my skin and my foundation actually matching. Since then I have always fake tanned..

The last 4 years I have every week on a Thursday have always fake tanned. #faketanthursday
I have tried so many fake tans that are perfect for pale/fair skin tones so today I will be sharing my ultimate holy grail fake tanning products/brand that I am always repurchasing.
That brand is Bondi Sands.. I have tried a fair few products from them but today I am sharing my top two fake tan and the ones that I use to keep my tan looking like I am an Aussie girl

1. Bondi Sands Ultra Dark Tanning Foam.
This is actually more of a new one to my must haves. I have always loved the dark one but as soon as this one came out it took first place and replaced my love for the dark one.. well moved it to second place. It such a lovely deep dark colour which is a green based so to me it gives me a nice olive tan and looks nice a natural. For me it fades my better than the dark and its more of a natural fade and last longer. The tan lasts on my for up to 5 days without me having to do anything which I really like.


2. Bondi Sands Dark Tanning Foam.
Again I love this tan and was my favourite for two years. The difference is that I find this to be more red based so it gives more of un-natural tan but I only noticed it more when I used the dark tan but still none the less I still love it and still continue to use it. This will last up to 4 days on my skin but longer if I make sure I exfoliate and keep applying moisturiser. If you're new to tanning maybe this one is a good place to start because I know that a ultra dark tan can be a little scary..

For keeping my tan maintained I love the liquid gold for that extra layer of tan and giving my skin a bit of a glow which is perfect for summer and I also love the gradual tanners both foam and liquid.
They are perfect for prolonging the tan and giving my skin moisture.

And for removing my tan the tan eraser. I did a whole testing video on this on my channel which I will leave below but this is perfect for removing tan especially tans that are stubborn or for when you want to remove your tan and then re apply a fresh layer the next day. I am now on my 3rd bottle and honestly I couldn't have a tanning routine without it.

So there you have it my H.G tans, extenders and removers. I will do another pale fake tan products because there is a few more I love so keep an eye out!!
